Results from the transmitter hunting of Sunday November 26th, 2006

 
 
The organizers were Michel VE2MBQ and Sylvain VE2SYQ.

The first transmitter was hidden at the far end of the parking in the Loblaws supermarket  (St-Jacques-Cavendish) on edge of a ravine.  Yagi 3 elements is attached to a tree and the transmitter was at his feet.  The power output was 5 Watts with a vocal CW message.

The second transmitter was in a bicycle parking lot on Notre-Dame street, near the  Lachine canal between Notre-Dame and St-Patrick.  The beacon was hidden in a case  between 2 blue parking panels on a metal post.  A suitcase contains the transmitter with its rubber duck.  Power 500 mW and a vocal message. 

Thank you to all the participating, it was a very pleasant day.
