The antenna preparation

For the day I choose the 4 antennes system link by 6 coax RG-59U each had 28'8¼", they are multiples of Lambda of the choosen frequency.  A 200 foot coax RG-58U was between the antenna and the radio.

With this installation, I can put nearly 50' between each antenna.

The equipement a Yaesu Ft-227 10 watts, in serail with a lineair giving 45 watts.  The SWR is 1:1

The schematic of the antennas, the power was 45 watts at the output of the linear.  Two hundred feets of coax RG-58U further there was only 9 watts at the first tee, at the second tee 3 watts and one 1 watt at each of the 4 antennas.  This antenna where working like 4 portables radio in 4 trees.

The first test was done with the 4 antennas on the patio, but I had too much RF feedback in the radio microphone. I had to put the 4 antennas on the fence.

For that hunt the ID was sending a tone tat the Doppler love's.  Your Doppler is running good but on that day it was much easier with a Yagi.

This is a video of a test that I did with Réal VE2DSK.  Wabbler (6.6 meg)
