Challenge Hunt November 4th, 2006

 
 
This activity was organized by François VE2JX and Louis VE2LGT (VA2JX).  There were two transmitters to find.  The first transmitter (20 watts) in an 11 elements Yagi antenna in horizontal polarization.  It was located in Ville LaSalle near the railroad station.  The second transmitter was the club's small transmitter (150 milliwatts), it was hidden in a tree.
 
The hunt started at 7PM on top of the Mont-Royal and six teams were there:

Michel VE2MBQ, Pierre Veillet and Maria

The first place winner was Michel VE2MBQ and his team, in less than 2 hours.
Only one other team found both transmitters in the regular 5 hours time, Mathieu VE2TMQ and René VA2RDB.
